This course will work to improve mobility in the thoracic and lumbar spine, hips shoulders, elbows and more. A key concept with duck diving is that your body is moving asymmetrically, under load of the wave. This course helps balance and strengthen your body to prevent injuries from repetitive asymmetrical movements.
Using our 6 step corrective exercises approach including 1: Range of Motion Drills 2: Motor Control 3:Postural Re-education 4: Stretching 5: Strengthening and 6: Dynamic Stabilization, we help normalize your body's neutral posture and improve your strength to tolerate asymmetrical loading while surfing/ duck diving.
Even if you don't have an actual issue with duck diving, this course is a good 'general'/ overall wellness course to get started with.
